Bhavish Aggarwal Early Life
Bhavish Aggarwal was born on 28 August 1985 in Ludhiana, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Virgo. When he was ten years old they were living in the United Kingdom they come back to Ludhiana. He went to Rajasthan to prepare for the IIT entrance exam. Then he gave the exam but not cleared it after that he came back to Ludhiana and prepare for the exam at home then he passed his IIT entrance exam with 23rd ranks. He joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in the year 2004. He did his B.Tech in computer science and engineering in the year 2008. In the year 2007 he started date with his girlfriend name Rajalakshmi. In the year 2014, he got married with his girlfriend.
His parents want to succeed in his company when sometime drivers left a job that was registered with Ola. They help him to buy a new car which helps him to proceed with his business smoothly. Bhavish told Bloomberg that his mother was feeling upset initially but now she felt liberated because now she summons a car when she needed.
Career information
After completing his degree he started his job with Microsoft India he started his job as a research intern. He did his job only for two years. He wanted to do his own business. In the year 2011, Bhavish Aggarwal co-founded “Ola-cab” with his friend named Ankit Bhati. Bhavish Aggarwal started this company due to one incident that happened with him. He was working in Microsoft India. He booked a car to go from Bangalore to Bandipur. The cab service was not good. The driver asked him about money Bhavish refused to talk with him but he was continuous talking. The driver was not treating him well. In the middle of his journey, he got down from the car immediately. He traveled his further journey by bus. Then it comes to mind that many people faced that type of problem. He decided to quit the job and start worked as a travel agent. He started his new company name olatrip.com with his friend. He started this idea to provide cab people for out-of-station trips. Initially, that was not easy he faces many problems but eventually, he started to earn money and now he is earning crores. Ola Cab has not bought a single car to date they took all cars on rent and also running his business that way. After the success of the Ola cab service name Ola fleet in the year 2015. It’s a subsidiary of ANI Technology Pvt. Limited.
They don’t have much working capital they needed an investor who invested in their company. He got $5 million in funding from tiger global management. The company didn’t have prior experience but the company got funding from Anupam Mittal, snapdeal’s Kunal Bahl. After that, they command a 60% market share and the company started handling 15 lakh bookings per day. They provide a major service to their customer that Ola play. It became the first connected car platform. It includes apps like Sony LIV, music, and audio compass.

Work culture
This controversy arose in 2022 he was promoting work culture at Ola Electric and found a closed entry door which supposed to be open. He asked the manager to take three rounds with the vehicle around the compound of Ola manufacturing plants. This come to another employee they upset and said that he is a passionate person but promoted culture and hard work among his employees.
A Bengaluru man sued over a cab service
A consumer court ordered Bhavish to pay 10,000 to a Bengaluru man as compensation on 18 January 2023. He sued because he face malfunctioned Air conditioner situation. He booked a ride of 80 km on 18 October 2021. This man tried to reach Aggarwal and customer care to lodge his complaint but he didn’t get any response from the call center. Court ordered to Bhavish refunding his cab trip with fare Rs. 1,837 with interest rate.
