Udit Narayan is an Indian Playback singer who has been active in Bollywood since 1980. He has been part of various chartbuster songs in movies. Narayan sings in various languages like Bagheli, Maithili, Assamese, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Odia and Hindi. What’s more, Udit received several Filmfare Awards, 2O nominations and 4 National Film Awards, and many more Awards. Early Life
He was born on 1 December 1955 in Bhardaha, Saptari in Nepal. Udit Narayan’s age is 69 years old as of 2024. He did his schooling at Shree Public Bindeshwari Secondary School, Rajbiraj in Nepal. What’s more, Narayan completed his SSC and then his intermediate degree from Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus, Kathmandu in Nepal.
His father Hare Krishna Jha was a farmer and his mother Bhuwaneshwari Devi, was a folk singer. She encouraged him to sing. In the year 2006, Ranjana Narayan Jha claimed that she had to be his first wife but he always denied that claim, later on, he accepted her as his first wife and provided her maintenance. Udit Narayan’s wife’s name is now Deepa Narayan Jha. Both are in a relationship but he was married already, they got married in the year 1985. From Deepa, he has one son named Aditya Narayan, who is also a playback singer and host in various reality shows.
